Children's Choirs

School Year Only Wednesdays at 6:15pm

Choirs help children learn basic music elements and experience the joy of singing to our God. Children are divided into 4 choirs:

Preschool Choir (Ages 3-5): Kelley Preschool Suite 119
Music Makers (Grades 1-2): Children's Suite 210
Young Musicians (Grades 3-4): Children's Suite 217
South Main Singers (Grades 5-6): Children's Suite 212

Student Choir

September - June Sundays at 4:30pm

The Student Choir is comprised of Grades 7 - College. This is a non auditioned group. This choir prepares music for 8:15 & 10:45 worship as well as for ministry opportunities and choir trips. The choir is very involved in area ministries as well as away experiences. Past music and mission trips include Canada, Washington DC, and South Texas. Youth enjoy the diversity in age and music and find this time to be helpful in the journey toward spiritual and musical maturity.

Adult Choir

Wednesdays at 7:15pm

The Adult Choir rehearses August - May. We are a non-auditioned choir that meets in the choir room located behind the worship center. The choir prepares weekly service anthems for 8:15 worship on Sundays and also prepares special programs that are presented throughout the year. Past programs have included special concerts with Steve Amerson and stand alone presentations that complement the Christmas and Easter seasons. The choir also enjoys participation in ministry experiences as well as retreat and personal growth events. Singers are welcome to visit rehearsals before making a commitment to the choir.

Band and Praise Team

Wednesdays at 6:00pm

Our band utilizes various woodwind, brass and string instruments as well as acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards and percussion. This group rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm in the worship center. The band, along with the praise team, gives leadership to our contemporary worship experience on Sundays at 10:45.

Handbells

Tuesday Evenings

The choir is directed by music assistant, Jane Logan, who oversees the program. Handbells require some music reading skills.

Sign Language Student Choir

Tuesdays at 6:00pm

Vision is a sign language team of children and teens led by Pam Hodson. This group gives leadership to both of our Sunday worship experiences and is also involved in periodic ministry opportunities in our community.
